Location: My studio in Maple Ridge (50 mins from YVR Airport)

Cost: $1000 (Plus 5% Tax) CAD

Non refundable retainer: $300 + Tax CAD (due at the time of booking)

Remainder: $700 CAD + Tax (due 2 weeks before workshop date)

Attendees: Limited to 8 photographers

Workshops are one full day and will cover everything you need to know about newborn photography, whether you are in your first year of business or looking to enhance your existing skills. I will teach you everything from session workflow, styling, setting up your studio, prepping clients before they arrive, newborn posing on the beanbag and in props, composition and finding the best angles to shoot at, lighting, soothing techniques for a fussy baby and much much more. I will show you how to use studio lighting and where to place it to achieve perfect skin tones and shadows in and out of the camera.

**Please note that you will not be allowed to touch the baby or get any hands on posing, but you will have the opportunity to photograph every pose so I can help you with angles and camera settings**

Workshop Schedule:
9am - Introductions, cover session prep, workflow, camera settings, lighting set-up
10am - 1st model arrives (table posing flow including trampoline posing)
12:45pm - break for lunch (provided by me)
1:30pm - 2nd model arrives (wrapping, props workflow)
4pm - Post Processing and Q&A
5:30pm - Optional dinner & drinks (not included in workshop cost)

Equipment needed:

A Camera which you MUST know how to operate in full manual
50mm or 35mm prime lens (24-70mm is ok but you wont be able to shoot open wide like I demonstrate)
ipad, iphone or just good ole' pen and paper to take notes/pics/videos

**There is a minimum requirement of 6 attendees to sign up for the workshop to go ahead. Should the requirement not be met 2 months before the workshop, it will be cancelled and deposits will be refunded. Please take this into consideration when making travel arrangements and check with Charlotte before booking any flights/hotel**

**Deposits are non-refundable. If you are no longer able to attend you are responsible for selling your seat**

**The workshop is not open to those who already teaching/mentoring in newborn photography. Attendees are prohibited from teaching/mentoring specifically newborn photography within 12 months of the workshop date and will be required to sign a contract**
